In a closely fought match the Varsity lacrosse team was defeated by New Hampshire 9-7 at Durham yesterday.
The Crimson stickmen were ahead throughout the entire game until a few minutes before the end. In the closing minutes of the last period Harvard led by the score of 7 to 5 only to have the score tied before the final whistle. Bunsoker and Hammond starred for the Crimson in the fifteen minute overtime period, but New Hampshire scored two goals to win the game.
At home on Soldiers Field the Freshman lacrosse team, in their second game, went down in defeat before Deerfield Academy by the score of 5 to 2.
The inexperienced Yardling team led by the brilliant playing of Captain Doug Anderson fought hard against the powerful Deerfield contingent.
