One of the largest crowds that has ever assembled in and around a College dining-room was foiled last night when Vera Zorina, glamorous ballerina of the "Goldwyn Follies" and "I Married an Angel," failed to make her heralded appearance in Pierson at dinner-time.

The 20-year-old dancer was detained by an extra rehearsal, reportedly called because some cuts were to be made in the production which was considered too long. The diners, unaware of this, craned their necks to look at everyone who entered the hall and speculation was rife as to whether the chorine at one table was Miss Zorina.
