Biochemists Form Society, Meet First Time Tonight
Dr. Cannon Speaks on Chemistry of Nerve Impulses
The first meeting of the Harvard Society of Biochemistry will be held tonight at 8 o'clock in the Kirkland House Junior Common Room, Formed in order to enable those interested in the sciences to meet others with the same interests, and to help correlate the various courses in biology, physics and chemistry, the society will meet approximately once monthly.
Dr. Walter B. Cannon '96, George Higginson Professor of Physiology in the Medical School, will address tonight's meeting on "Chemical Mediation of Nerve Impulses." Illustrative movies will also be shown and refreshments served afterwards.
