Conant Tops Speakers' List At Harvard Club's Birthday Dinner; Williams Also Talks

George Gardiner '10 Slated to Become President, Succeeding E. A. Taft '04

At its annual meeting and dinner tonight, the Harvard Club of Boston will celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of its founding and the twenty-fifth anniversary of its present clubhouse.

President Conant will head the list of speakers. Others who will address the meeting are Frederick H. Martin '93, president of the Harvard Club of New York, and John Henry Williams '02, dean of the new Graduate School of Public Administration. Dean Williams will discuss the aims of the Littauer School which is to be opened next year.

At the business meeting before the program, George P. Gardiner '10, will be elected president of the club to succeed E. A. Taft '04, who has just completed a three-year term in office. Leverett Saltonstall '14, will become vice-president, and Alexander Wheeler '08, will take over the office of secretary.
