The reappointment of Shafer Williams '32 and Norris P. Swett '37 to the posts of Associate Graduate Secretary has been confirmed by the Phillips Brooks House Committee headed by Dean Sperry, it was announced on Saturday.
The post of Associate Graduate Secretary was created by the Committee last year to fill the need for a personnel director to deal with problems of student adjustment. The reappointment is for one year.
The work of this post is of an experimental nature, and although no accurate estimate of results obtained to date is possible at this time, the Committee feels that the first 6 months of Swett's and Williams' work justifies their reappointment.
