In general, the cycle of sentiments are high at either end of a month, reaching a low in the middle of the 30 day period. Of the days of the week, Monday is the gloomy one, while students are "on the top of the world" over the week-ends.
Factors that send spirits soaring are dates, health, weather, grades, and letters from home. Vacations and examinations cause the greatest fluctuations.
