Harvard doesn't cut much ice in Norway according to blonde Miss Ella Gulbrandsen, 18-year-old Norwegian skiing prodigy, who in an interview yesterday said she had never heard of Harvard, but admitted knowing plenty about Dartmouth.
In a broken Garbo accept, Miss Gulbrandsen, now performing nightly at the Boston Garden, proudly announced, "I knit sweaters and mittens," but did not say whether they were destined for Hanover.
She comes from a family of skijumpers, and learned much of her stuff as a child when she had to make a six mile trip on skis to and from school every day.
