William A. Jackson Made Assistant Librarian of College

William A. Jackson, of New York City, Honorary Secretary for America of the Bibliographical Society of London and recognized as a leader among the younger men in the field of bibliography, has been appointed Associate Professor of Bibliography at Harvard College Library in charge of the Treasure Room.

The appointment, which becomes effective next September 1 and continues for five years, was announced by the university today.
