James M. Curley, former Massachusetts politician and Governor, last night issued the following statement:
"I have read the apology made by Professor Seavey, and while it is both manly and commendable it does not alter the facts; neither does it alter my decision that Leo should not return to Harvard.
"The loss of a year in studies is of minor importance as contrasted with the loss of self-respect."
