As the Boston Latin nine fumbled the ball for nine errors and allowed the Yardlings 13 hits, the Crimson Freshmen won their eighth game yesterday afternoon at Soldiers Field 12 to 6.
With the score tied 4-4 going into the last half of the fifth Bob Fulton, Crimson catcher, put the game on ice, smashing out a long homer, scoring two Yardlings ahead of him. Tom Healey pitched his second victory in two starts, yielding six hits and fanning nine of the schoolboys.
