Adams House captured the House basketball championship by crushing Lowell House 31-11 yesterday afternoon in a playoff game for the title. As a result of this victory the Goldcoasters travel to Yale to engage the leading college team there at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon.
Coming back strongly after their only defeat of the season at the hands of Lowell on Wednesday, Adams showed a new brand of basketball which completely tied up the high scoring offensive power of the Bellboys and gave them setup after setup for scoring shots.
With Donald II. Gordon '39 and Hubert B. Hauck '38 leading the scoring, Adams rushed to a 15-7 lead at the half and never were threatened for the remainder of the game. Gordon with 11 points and Hauck with 9 points were the high men for Adams, while Brent M. Abel '37 led Lowell with 6 tallies.
