Approximately 70 men reported to coach Dick Harlow, at the first general football practice yesterday afternoon. Although most of the men from last year's Varsity and Jayvee squads were present, a few veterans now engaged in spring sports did not turn out.
Since investigation showed that the field was in good condition, the practice was held outside for the first time. This move made it easier for the coaches to handle the large squad, and to divide it up into teams for a long signal drill. Kicking was also tried for the first time.
