EDITOR BRANDS HARVARD AS RICH MAN'S SONS' COLLEGE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The following so-called editorialette appeared in the March issue of a Texas monthly called, "The Public Opinion":

"Harvard students (that rich man's sons' college), have by a vote of 1228 to 49 voted against a ruling prohibiting entertaining of female visitors singly in the House rooms.

"This is not a very high estimate to be placed on the character of the young ladies they associate with.

"But it is becoming a common saying, 'the rich can get by with any criminal acts they desire.'"
