Brayton and Johansen Are Elected Captains of 1938 Cross Country and Soccer

Roswell Brayton '39 and John M. Johansen '39 have been elected captains of the 1938 Varsity cross country and soccer teams, respectively.

Brayton, whose home is in Fall River, prepared for Harvard at Milton Academy, where he competed in track. A miler on the 1937 Varsity cross country team, he succeeds John W. Erhard '38 as captain. John W. Cassidy '39 will be the next Varsity manager.

Johansen, who lives in New York City, prepared for Harvard at the Choate School. In his Freshman year he won minor numerals in soccer and major numerals in track. He succeeds Richard G. Powell as captain.
