Opposing views of the Sine-Japanese controversy hold the center of the stage at the third general meeting of the Student Union in Phillips Brooks House tonight.
There will be a debate. For the Island side, Takaiso Matsumoto 2GB, who has had teaching experience in the Mikado's universities bears the cudgels. For the Dragon, Robert Dunn Wu '37, relative of his country's ambassador to the United States will answer the bell. A general debate, open to all, is to follow the principal speeches.
In addition to the debate there will be a preliminary business meeting of the Union, scheduled to begin at 7:45 o'clock and to that a half hour, at which delegates will be chosen to the district conference of the American Student Union.
