Freshmen Plan New Yachting Club for Pleasure Sailing

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Drawing up their constitution at a meeting in the Union last night, 20 members of the Freshman Yachting Club inaugerated their new society which is open exclusively to Yardlings.

Plans were made for the purchase of second-hand dinghies similar to those used by the M. I. T. Sailing Club, to be procured from the club funds. "Use of boats will be the privilege of every member," said the committee.

While sailing primarily for pleasure, the organization has a tentative bid for a race next spring with the Dartmouth Freshmen.
