James A. Field '37, of Chicago, has been awarded the Lt. Charles Henry Fiske, 3rd. Scholarship for study at Trinity College, Cambridge. He prepared at Milton Academy and graduated cum laude in History and Literature.
As an undergraduate Field was a member of the rugby club and also an editor of the CRIMSON. As a CRIMSON editor he was for three and a half years. Hu Flung Huey, Sage of the Age. Under his direction the wily Oriental reached a high prophetic accuracy.
The Fiske Scholarship was established in 1919 by Charles H. Fiske '93 and Mrs. Fiske, in memory of their son, Charles H. Fiske, 3rd. '19, who was killed in the War. The recipient of the scholarship receives also the income from the Lt. Charles Henry Fiske, 3rd. Fund for travel or study in France.
