Rendings T. Fels has been selected as the Freshman Tercentenary Speaker who will address the meeting of the Associated Harvard Clubs over a worldwide radio hook-up next fall.

Fels was adjudged best of the six finalists in the competition at Holden Chapel yesterday by George Gore '34 and Edward H. Hickey '33, Freshman debating coaches.

Robert W. Bean was announced as the runner-up in the competition and will be the alternate speaker. Both Fels and Bean have been active in debating all year and are members of the Union Debating Society.
