Thomas, Bailey, Monsell Appointed to Faculty

Bernard A. De Vote '18, Lecturer in English, in order to take up the editorship of the Saturday Review of Literature next September, is resigning from the Faculty position he has held since 1929.

Three Faculty appointments have also been announced by University Hall:

William J. Thomas, of the Social Science Research Institute, Stockholm, Sweden, has been named Lecturer on Sociology, and is to teach an undergraduate course on group habit systems.

Dr. Edward W. Bailey, associate professor of Law at the University of Texas, becomes Ezra Ripley Thayer Teaching Follow in the Law School.

Finally, Graham Eyres Monsell, of London, England, has been appointed research assistant in Industrial Research at the Graduate School of Business Administration. Monsell is the son of the Right Honorable Viscount Monsell, First Lord of the British Admiralty.
