In response to an inquiry from the CRIMSON, Aldrich Durant states: "University officials have felt, because of the possible danger of accidents, that it would be wise to know how prevalent was the practice of keeping firearms in dormitory rooms. The information is not yet complete, but when completed the question will be taken up with University authorities about placing a restraint upon student possession of firearms.
