First change to be made in Varsity crew ranks since March 23 came yesterday when Coach Charlie Whiteside jerked Roger Cutler out of his position as stroke of the Jayvee boat and put him in Art Beane's place at 2 on the Varsity.
Harry Locke was shifted from number 2 in the Seconds to take over the seat vacated by Cutler and, judging from his performance yesterday, is capable of swinging the metronome car although he has had no stroke experience.
Whether or not Cutler will stick in the Varsity shell will not be decided until after the workout this afternoon.
With June 8 set as the date of the Red Top departure and Cornell and Syracuse coming up Saturday in a two mile race, the eight is beginning to work toward the four miles at New London on June 19
