NO SUCCESSOR FOR MIKKOLA HAS YET BEEN CONSIDERED

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Contrary to reports in some of the Boston papers, no successor to Jaakko Mikkola, track coach, is being considered as yet. No definite action on his successor or on Mikkola's appointment as regular head coach will be taken until the end of the season.

So far Jaakko's record as head coach has been very successful, his teams winning the Quadrangular Meet and coming third in the I.C.A.A.A.A. meet this winter. In spring track the team won the G.B.I. meet handily in spite of the absence of four crack hurdlers who went down to the Penn relays to set a new record in the 480-yard shuttle hurdles.
