Opening its home season today against Tufts, the Varsity Lacrosse team will face stiff competition. Tufts has an almost completely veteran outfit and one that looks, on paper at least, much improved over last year. It defeated M. I. T. last Wednesday, 6-2.

The Varsity has made steady progress in spite of its losses over the vacation.

Coach Stahley will start six sophomores against Tufts tomorrow and the team as a whole will be the same as started against Navy. The lineup: Jerome C. Hunsaker, Jr, '38, ih; James P. Hunsaker '38, oh; Harold van B. Cleveland '38, 1A; Robert W. Scott '38, 2A; Thomas B. Campion '38, c; John G. Duffey '36, 2D; Joseph J. Magurn '38, 1D; John D. Whittemore '38, p; John J. Witherspoon '37, cp; and Leavitt Howard '36, g.
