PRESIDENT CONANT AWARDED DEGREE BY WILLIAM & MARY

President Conant has been awarded an honorary degree of doctor of laws by the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, which will be presented at the commencement exercise of the College this spring.

Announcement of the award was made yesterday by John Stewart Bryant, president of the college. The event will take place in the Sir Christopher Wren Building on June 8, marking the end of the 243rd year of the college.
