Tossing "Friday the 13th" superstitions to the wind, Freshmen will step to the music of Mal Hallett and his orchestra in the early spring dance at the Union tonight. Hoping to pique the idly curious, the dance committee has rumored a surprise in store for the terpsichoreans.
The list of patronesses is headed by Mrs. Delmar Leighton, and includes Mrs. A. Chester Hanford, Mrs. Roger B. Merriman, and Mrs. Kendric N. Marshall, Charles A. Meyer is head usher.
Prices of tickets as set by Richard C. Hedblom, chairman of the dance committee are $2 a couple and $1.50 a stag, obtainable at the Union today or at the door. The doors will open at 8.30 o'clock and Hallett will play until 1 o'clock.
This will be the last dance until the annual Jubilee, held traditionally in the middle of May.
