Erhard to Captain '37 Cross Country

Succeeds Channing As Galassi Is Elected Manager; Brayton and Gardner Return

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At a meeting of the Cross Country team in Dillon Field House on December 1, elections for next year's captain and manager took place.

John W. Erhard '38 was elected captain, succeeding Hayden Channing '37. Erhard lives in Boston and attended Noble and Greenough School.

Gerard Galassi '39 was chosen to succeed Daniel Tower '37 as manager of the team.

The only returning lettermen next year will be Roswell Brayton '39 and George P. Gardner, III '39.

The season this fall was not as successful as was hoped, but the defeat of Princeton in the Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet kept it from being a failure.
