According to an announcement yesterday, fellowships and scholarships totaling $9,600 have been awarded to 24 students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, as follows:

Herbert N. Dillard 3G, Julian Hawes 1G, Wilson D. Michell 1G, William T. Pecora 2d, 2G, Horace Winchell 1G, and Francis J. Whitfield 1G, received Austin fellowships.

Seymour Betsky 3G, an Edward Austin fellowship.

Henry M. O'Brien 1G, and Edward C. Stevenson 1G, Bayard Cutting fellowships for research in Physics.

Hugh V. Allison 1G, a George and Martha Derby scholarship.

Wallace de Laguna 4G, Bradford B. Owen 1G, and J. Fred Smith Jr., 2G, George H. Emerson scholarships.

William Koren Jr., 1G, a Francis Park-man fellowship.

Herbert C. Barrows, Jr., 2G, a Rogers fellowship.
