As a result of the Princeton game, Coach Dick Harlow has decided to have two interchangeable backfields on his A squad. The coach emphasised yesterday that there was nothing to choose between the two quarters, and said that both groups would see about equal service in the remaining games.
Wilson, Roberts, McTernen, and Watt comprise one backfield, and Boston, Oakes, Stuart, and Struck make up the other. Yesterday in practice each group ran for half the time behind the A team line, which is the same as started the Princeton game, with the exception of Allen in at guard for Charley Kessler, who will be out all week with his split hand.
Harlow said yesterday that the squad had the best tackling practice they have had all year, and the entire coaching staff was also pleased with the work of the team in blocking and pass work.
