Launching the social season of the Class of '40, the Union Committee has announced that the first Freshman dance will be held at the Union on Saturday evening, December 5. Don Gahan's orchestra, famous for their imitations of nationally known syncopators, will provide the music.

The dance committee includes: Chairman, Douglas Mercer. Tickets and sales: Walter T. Ridder, Arthur Cantor, Henry A. Burgess, Christian M. Lauritsen, Publicity: Vinton Freedley, Jr., John L. Donnell, Herbert Scheinberg. Ushers: William C. Coleman, Jr., Thomas Healey, Philip C. Neal. Patroness Committee: Frederick Holdsworth, Jr., Douglas Mercer.
