Army 32-0; Dartmouth 26-7; Army equals Dartmouth: therefore, Harvard improved last week. Much more than this, however, game statistics show that the play was better, first downs more frequent. The team for the first time this season, under the fighting leadership of Captain Jim Gaffney, really showed its guts and persistence. They played a stiff game against more experienced players; came off with a moral victory after the last minute, offside defense before Harvard's score.
With the backing of the undergraduates this week, they can bag the Tiger next Saturday. Experience and the realization that they can go-to-town against a strong team, plus additional practice, will turn the tables.
