Taking a lesson from Dick Harlow's book, the Varsity Lacrosse team decided to have practice in the off season to get the jump on their opponents. As a result the first fall practice was held today on Soldiers Field with more than 20 men reporting.

Led by Captain John J. Witherspoon '37, the reporting squad listed such veterans as Thomas B. Campion '38, Jerome C. Hunsaker '38, Joseph J. Magurn '38, and Robert Scott '38. It is expected that the more than usually successful Freshman team of last year will supply several more to this number.

Skip Stahley will again coach the netmen and will be assisted by Fred Rice, former Cornell great. Nosed out last year is the Yale encounter after a close struggle 4-3. Coach Stahley expects that the fall practice this year will enable teams in the history of the sport at Harhim to turn out one of the best lacrosse vard.
