Winthrop and Kirkland sextets, both victorious in the semi-finals at the Garden Monday, will battle it out for the title on the Arena ice Friday at 3:30 o'clock.

The Pioneer pucksters put up a rough fight against the powerful Winthrop outfit, and were beaten by only one goal, 2-1. Kirkland and Dudley played just two periods before the game was called for varsity practice. At that time Kirkland was in the lead, 1-0, thanks to the goal made by Gilbert E. Jones 38. No definite decision was made on the game, but Kirkland had the edge.
