Weather forecasts for this weekend and the snow reports, as given out by Old Man Winter of the Boston Transcript, all point to perfect skiing conditions.

There is plenty of snow everywhere, including Massachusetts with Pinkham Notch recorded at 531/2 inches; and the thermometer will remain low, with slowly rising temperature tomorrow.

For the first time the Boston and Albany is running a "Winter Sportsman" which will go to Hinsdale in the Berkshires. The Boston and Maine weekend train is going to Wilton, New Hampshire, while the Sunday one will go to Plymouth, in the same state, where there is 27 inches of snow.
