Rugby Team Wins, Loses, And Ties on Bermuda Trip

Drops Final Game to Yale in Surprise Upset by 3-0 Score

One victory, one defeat, and one scoreless tie was the record turned in by the Harvard rugby team spending its vacation in Bermuda.

After sinking a picked Bermuda fifteen 17-0 in the opening game of their stay in Bermuda, Harvard managed to eke out a tie with the team of the British West Indies Squadron, and in the last game fell victim to the strategy of Yale and were downed 3-0 by the Elis.

Grosscup, football star on the Yale eleven last fall, accounted for the only score in the final game of Bermuda's rugby week, when he took an Eli penalty kick 30 yards out, making a perfect score.

Yale's triumph was a surprise, since Harvard, with six former English prep school rugby stars in its lineup, was scheduled to take the game.
