Behind doors tightly locked to save the losers from the scorn of their roommates, Freshman swimmers who have not received numerals will compete in the annual championship at 4 o'clock this afternoon. Seven events will be held for the bashful mermen.

There will be 50, 100, and 200-yard free style swims, the dive, the 100-yard back stroke, the 100-yard breast stroke and the 150-yard medley races. Entries may be made up to an hour or two within the time of the meet.

The diving championship of the Freshman class will also be held along with the main meet. The six entrants in this event will compete for a much coveted silver-plated trophy. The two main contestants are William Fraser and Robert Chase who together have piled up many points for the Crimson team.

These two men have seesawed back and forth during the season, first one winning in a meet and then the other triumphing the next time.

In the other events, which are distinct from the competition for the diving cup, the three men to place will receive medals.
