Producing some of the most spectacular grappling seen in the tourney, final bouts yesterday culminated three days of preliminary wrestling in the annual University tournament.
Len Klein, former Freshman star, fighting in the 135-pound class gained a decision over Colton Daughaday '38, regular, to head the card of exciting matches. Yearling Captain Harry Ames kept his Harvard slate clean by throwing 145-pound Ed Haseltine.
Impressive victories were also scored by John Harkness and Dave Glueck, Freshmen listed in the 165-pound and 175-pound classes, and Bill Glendinning, 1938 heavyweight, finally pinned Hyman Eisenman in impressive style in the unlimited class.
A First Year Law student who trained for the tournament at Hemenway Gymnasium, Eisenman was one of an unusually large group of non-team men who entered the meet this year. The tournament, which was not open to Varsity members, had 46 entrants.
