ADAMS HOUSE CREATES NEW DRAMATIC SOCIETY

Officers of New Organization Picked at Meeting Following Play; Another Production Planned in Spring

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

House history was made last night when the Adams House Dramatic Society was founded. Following the production of "The Red Mill," the cast and those interested in drama gathered in the Master's house and elected their officers.

Gladwin A. Hill '36 was elected president, Raymond Dennett '36 is vice-president, Kenneth McR. Clark '37 secretary, and Herbert M. Irwin, Jr. '37 treasurer. James P. Baxter, 3rd, associate professor of History, was named honorary president.

Hill-Dennett

Hill is a member of the House Committee and Dennett was president of the Liberal Club two years ago and is president of Phillips Brooks House this year. Irwin is manager elect of the band.

This is the first dramatic society which has ever been formed in a House, and the new group will present a play on the week before Easter. House tradition will be broken again at that time, for women guests will be invited.
