Harvard is preparing to celebrate its 300th birthday.
We of New England are proud that the nation's oldest college is within our borders. We are also proud that for long years past New England sons have received their education there.
Harvard is and must continue to be a national institution.
With this in mind, Harvard new announces establishment of a "300th Anniversary Fund" for national scholarships.
These will enable worthy young men from every state in the Union to come to Cambridge.
