1939 BOOTERS TANGLE WITH JUMBO FRESHMEN

Last opponent of the '39 soccer team before Yale next Friday, the Tufts Freshmen take the field here at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon.

Included in the Jumbo record are a win over Malden High and defeats by Andover, Quincy High, Belmont High, Exeter.

The Crimson team, whose showing to date has been marked by alternate flashy and sloppy play, has defeated Tabor, the Dartmouth Freshmen, and Worcester, tied Exeter, and lost to Andover and the Brown Freshmen.

Because of the holiday Monday, practice time this week has been comparatively scarce, but Coach Jim McDonald has tried to offset this with three intensive sessions.
