Hemenway Petition

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"Because of the crowded condition of the indoor Athletic Building" a petition to have Hemenway Gymnasium reopened has been circulating about the Law School since last week.

So far over four hundred names have been signed in the booklets placed on the Langdell library reading desk and on the Austin Hall bulletin board for that purpose. Hemenway was permanently closed this year by John W. Lowes '20, financial vice-president of the University.

The need recently felt by Law School students for further athletic facilities has caused the circulation of the petition.
