With entries in eight events at the Knights of Columbus Meet on Saturday night, Harvard's track team left the Garden with a victory in the hurdles, a second place in the high jump, defeats in the two dashes which Harvard entered, and defeats in the four relay races.

Milt Green turned in the best Crimson performance, clearing the high hurdles twice in the time of 5 4-5 seconds, to equal the indoor world record.

Bob Hall, Crimson high jumper, tied for second place in his event with the bar at 6 feet, two inches, while Spitz took first.

In the two mile relay, Captain Scheu ran a two minute half mile, but finished fourth. In the one mile relay against Holy Cross, Harvard never regained the lead after Calvin relinquished it at the end of the first two laps. Harvard's "B" relay men pressed their opponents closely all the way but were outclassed by the fleet Holy Cross and M.I.T. runners.

The Freshman relay team showed up well, but Stuart's fall in the first leg of the race gave the Crusader runners the margin necessary for victory.
