Yesterday's snowfall will bring members of the snow shovel brigade out of their beds at 6 o'clock this morning for their first big job of the year. After obtaining their shovels from the Student Employment office, they will swing into action on sidewalks, porches, and driveways.

There are two kinds of service available. By a "standing order" regular customers are entitled to have their walks cleaned after every snowfall at the cost of $.50 an hour. A "short order" will bring a brigadier within an hour of the call.

So far this year has been a bad one for the organization. Only six students are employed on regular jobs and 20 are waiting for some employment. It is predicted that a continuation of yesterday's weather will improve the situation.

Last year some of the students assigned to regular customers have received from $30 to $40 for their work. On a job which takes less than an hour $.35 is the minimum charge.
