Classical Club Elects

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The active members of the Harvard Classical Club met in a special business session last week. The following officers were elected for the coming year: Honorary President, Professor E. K. Rand; Secretary, F. M. Carey, 1G; Treasurer, N. L. Hatch '21; Executive Committee; Professor R. K. Hack, H. K. Messenger, M. W. Yost, 1G, W. E. Blake '20, B. F. Jones '22.

It was voted that instead of translating some Greek or Latin author into English at the literary meetings as has been the practice hitherto, the members shall interpret and discuss in Latin one of the less difficult authors. The Fables of Phaedrus were selected for that purpose.

The annual dinner of the Club will be held May 26 at the Harvard Club of Boston.
