COLLEGE MAY ABOLISH RANK LIST IN JUNE, SAY REPORTS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Reports last night indicated that the publication of the Rank List would cease this June, but these rumors could not be confirmed at University Hall. Albert E. Hindmarsh, assistant Dean in charge of Records, stated that he had had no notice to that effect and others declared that the matter had not been brought up at the meeting of Deans.

The Mid-Year Rank List was abolished last year as an economy measured and if the June List is done away with it will be regarded as a triumph of the tutorial system. Dean Hanford recommended in his report to President Conant this year that it be abolished.
