Announcement of the plans for the third annual Geological Field School to be held in New Mexico this summer were made yesterday by Kirk Bryan, assistant professor of Physiography. The school will open on June 27 in Albuquerque and will run until August 7.
The principal course which will be given is Geology S5 which consists of studies for six weeks in the Janez Mountains and a reconnaissance of the spectacular geologic features of New Mexico. Advanced students may take Geology S20d which will be conducted in special classes by Professor Bryan. Both S5 and S20d will count as a half course for the degree of Bachelor of Arts.
