Milton G. Green '86, of the Varsity track team running independently in the 60-yard high hurdles race in the Knights of Columbus track meet in New York City on Saturday, equalled the world's record for the event, winning the race in 7, 8 seconds.
In winning the race, Green overcame such first class opposition as John Colliers of the Boston A.A., John Fatseas of N.Y.U., and R. E. McLaughlin of the Boston. A.A. Green recently took second place in the 45-yard high hurdles event in a meet held by the Rhode Island Athletic Club in Providence.
