Although trailing 15 to 6 at the end of the half, a fighting Freshman basketball team came back with a rush in the third and fourth periods, making 22 points to beat the Jayvees 28-23 in their annual game. The game was slow and ragged in the first half, with the Junior Varsity obviously playing the better game.
In the third period the Freshmen rallied, scoring four field goals while holding their opponents scoreless.
The summary:
Goals: Kollinites 7, Moser 5, Gray 4, Field 2, Stephenson 2, Mason 1, Adzigian 1, Goldberg 1, Tatleman 1. Free throws: Adzigian 2.
