Outplayed from the beginning to the end of the contest, the Crimson basketball team suffered a 33-21 defeat at the hands of Swarthmore's aggregation Saturday night at Swarthmore. Harvard's big team was behind all the game, and never threatened the Quaker's lead.

Johnny Abrams, Swarthmore captain, set his team in motion by scoring the first basket, and before the visitors could get their hands on the ball, the Garnet team had run up an 3-1 lead. The only spark in the contest came at this point, when Harvard rallied to bring the score to 8-5, but then Swarthmore swamped Harvard during the rest of the first period and the score at the half was 20-7.

Prest, Swarthmore guard, was high-point scorer for the Quakers, with ten markers, while Gene Merry scored high for the Crimson with seven points.
