In a closely contested match here yesterday afternoon Harry Cowles' Varsity A racquetmen were victorious over a graduates' squash team. Despite the decisive 4-1 score, more than a third of the total games went to deuce. Richard W. Gilder '36, veteran player, returned to the lineup in the No. 3 position.

Gilder '36 (H) defeated John R. Fetcher '34 (HG), 15-10, 15-11, 10-15, 18-16; Stanley G. Haskins '35 (Capt.) (H) defeated Donald W. Meiklejohn '33 (HG), 18-14, 15-10, 13-15, 15-10; Frank M. Carpenter '26 (HG) defeated Huntington Thom '36 (H), 15-8, 8-15, 16-13, 15-9.

A Freshman Class D team also chose yesterday to conquer a Tufts D team by a 3-2 count. The summary:
