New, Silk, Football Pants Not Inspired by Dartmouth

Mistakes in Measurements Delayed Delivery for Indian Game

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Rumor had it (among the spectators of Saturday's game) that Harvard's new, silk football pants were inspired by the gorgeous pantaloons worn by the Indians last weekend. An a matter of fact the opposite was the case.

New pants, and jorseys had been ordered for the Dartmouth game. They arrived on Friday, October 26, but it was discovered that although special fittings had been made, that nothing seemed to fit any player. As a result of this, the makers had to be called from Boston to make new measurements. Every jersey had to fit a special player because the numbers sewed on the backs had already been printed in the A. A. News.

After many muttered curses between H.A.A. officials, football managers, players, and clothing merchants, the dazzling outfits were delivered last Friday.
